I have been smober for 2 whole years now! I am eating right, exercising, not smoking, and feeling great! I don't miss smoking. Sometimes when things get stressful, I have a small craving, but I squelch it, and it's no big deal.
I know a lot of people have tried Chantix and had bad side effects, but it worked for me. I am not endorsing it, but rather, letting you know my experiences using it. I don't post as often. In fact, I post infrequently, but there's really not that much to report.
I'm wondering if I will have strong cravings at the 3 year mark. I've read that really strong cravings come at 3 days and 3 months, so I will let you know what I experience.
I guess my replacement for cigarettes has been the computer. I like keeping my hands busy, so I play a few Facebook games and other computer games. I think being on the computer more often is better than being outside smoking.
Anyway, I have a fairly busy day planned today. I am having lunch with my brother and have some errands to run. I like keeping busy, but I enjoy my downtime, too.
In closing, if I can quit, anybody can. Be strong and stay strong! You can do it!
